CharitiesThe Masonic Angel Fund is an organization that will purchase necessities for children at the request of principals and other leading figures in a child’s life. These purchases may be something as small as a new pair of shoes or even the money needed to attend a field trip. The Minnesota Masonic Cancer Center is an internationally recognized organization that researches and treats, at no or low cost to patients, cancer. The Masons also form the base for the Shriners who fund twenty-two no cost hospitals for children. Two of these hospitals are nationally recognized as being some of the best in the U.S. for treating burn victims, reconstructive surgery and for physical therapy following their surgeries. Money is not the only thing that Masons give back to the community, they also have reading programs to read to children and to help them overcome dyslexia and other learning disabilities. |
